This course provides an orientation to the Environmental Protection Act and Regulations, and an explanation of the provincial, federal and municipal requirements having relevance to most businesses and institutions. Coverage includes management of: air emissions; hazardous wastes; PCB materials; asbestos wastes; ozone depleting substances; recycling, reduction and re-use; at-source waste segregation; waste water discharge; environmental law enforcement; and information sources. This course will be valuable for persons from any industry sector having responsibility for environmental compliance management in Ontario.
